Cameron Campbell is a pianist from Worcester, Massachusetts. With over 10 years of experience in jazz and improvised music Cameron is a passionate and driven musician. He is also a composer having written a book of 50+ original compositions that have been realized and recorded by his working trio (SHUFFLE) and quartet (CAKEWALK). Cameron has had the opportunity to work with a wide array of artists such as Nas, Samara Joy, Christian McBride, Billy Hart, Gene Perla, Bill Frisell, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Jazzmeia Horn, Jonathan Blake, Kendrick Scott, Jaleel Shaw, Joe Farnsworth, Geordie Greep and Yussef Dayes. He has performed at venues nationally and internationally including; The Jazz Gallery, Zinc Bar, Mezzrow, Smalls, Close Up, The Django, Cafe Ornithology, Nublu, Chris’ Jazz Cafe, SF Jazz Center, The Deer Head Inn, The Hollywood Bowl, Blue Note Place (Tokyo), Wiener Konzerthaus (Vienna) and Auditório Ibirapuera (São Paulo). Cameron has recently dipped into the worlds of punk and metal with his band BURN BABYLON, a hardcore punk/sludge metal outfit and Suits, a punk-fusion project. He is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and a former student of pianists Christian Sands and Marc Cary.
